Friendly Reminder: Outside Alcohol Is Not Permitted 

It bears repeating: outside coolers and outside alcohol are not permitted on the golf course. This includes alcohol brought in coolers, golf bags, vehicles, or any other personal belongings.

Bringing outside alcohol onto the course is a violation of Iowa alcohol regulations and puts our liquor license at risk. We ask that all guests respect these rules so that we can continue serving everyone responsibly.

As much as some of you think you’ve mastered the art of sneaking it in, I have apparently become quite proficient at spotting outside alcohol. The “Oh, I didn’t know” excuse is getting a little worn out. The policy is posted on our website, included during the booking process, and displayed on a rather large sign that you walk past on your way to the clubhouse. At this point, the alcohol usually gives itself away before you do.

If outside alcohol is discovered, it will be confiscated. You may continue your round, but your customer profile will be flagged. Future violations—or how the initial situation is handled—will determine whether a warning is issued or whether a suspension or permanent ban is necessary.

If you choose not to surrender the alcohol, you are welcome to load up your clubs, gather your beverages, and head home. Your round will end there, no refund will be issued, and your profile will still be flagged.

For anyone under the legal drinking age, any alcohol found in your possession will be confiscated immediately. There is no option to take it elsewhere.

The good news is that we’ve got you covered. We carry a great selection of beverages in the clubhouse, and our beverage cart is out on the course ready to help with any thirst-related emergencies.

And for our younger golfers, don’t feel left out. We stock multiple brands of energy drinks, Pepsi products, Gatorade, water, and plenty of other options to keep you fueled for your round. We promise you’ll survive 18 holes without having to sneak anything in.
